2019 northeast region - local seminar

A Local Seminar is a more in-depth Basic 5 presentation that lasts six to eight hours and features a Guest Speaker who is an approved Speaker’s Bureau Category II member. Only approved Speaker’s Bureau Category II members can be featured speakers at a Local Seminar.  At Local Seminars, Distributors and UnFranchise® Owners are taught additional sales techniques and organizational-building techniques from some of the invited Guest Distributors in the respective area. Product Trainings can be included in this event as well as informational segments devoted to the various stores within Market America’s Mall Without Walls®. This event also recognizes area Distributors and UnFranchise Owners who have achieved new Pin Levels and UFO qualification or requalification, or have achieved outstanding retailing or recruiting accomplishments or other related success.

Since starting our UnFranchise® Business in 2015, we realized that the ongoing income in Market America is beautiful, and who you become in the process of building your business is invaluable!

Having grown up in the house of Executive Directors, David and Stacy Whited, I, Colton, am a true product of the UnFranchise Business System. After moving out of my parents' house at 18, I joined the work force in the restaurant industry. Starting out as a dishwasher, I knew I did not want to stay there long! I told my father I wanted to look into joining Market America, but he told me I wasn't in a good spot yet to build my business. However, he started me on a journey of reading great books in preparation for building any kind of business I wanted. I test-drove some of these skills in an entry-level traditional business…a hot dog cart. I quickly learned that the book world doesn't really look like the real world, and my first year in business amounted to only a $200 profit! After getting married in June of 2015, I looked at my life and saw that I was a server making a comfortable living for a single guy, but, as a married man, I knew I had to find something better. I went back to my father and asked him to show me exactly how he was so successful in business. After he showed me the MPCP, I was blown away! I found that an average person who is willing to work hard could realistically create whatever level of leverage/wealth they wanted to! After a few years of having a J-O-B, I knew it was time to start my own UnFranchise Business!

When I, Mikayla, first met Colton and his family, I enjoyed getting to know each of them.  One day, Colton sat me down and shared an amazing concept that I had never heard of before. We looked at the MPCP and saw our future together, full of adventure, freedom and joy. Just two months after marrying Colton, we agreed to take hold of the same opportunity that David and Stacy had, and I am happy to say I am so thankful we did! We couldn't be happier to be a part of the Market America family! We love to make sure people know that it is not always easy, but it is totally worth it. Do it so you can do what you are meant to do!
